Kaycie is a strategic and crisis communications specialist, with experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, infrastructure and renewable energy. 

Prior to joining H/Advisors APA, Kaycie was Chief of Staff to the NSW Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience and Minister for Flood Recovery. Kaycie and her team helped secure more than $6.2 billion for flood victims in 2022 and a record $4.3 billion (FY22-23) investment in seven emergency services agencies.

Kaycie advised the Minister, Premier and other senior government officials on emergency communications for four major flood disasters, as well as Upper House and independent inquiries into the emergency response.

Kaycie has held senior communications roles in the Treasury, Transport, Roads, Energy and Environment portfolios, and has also worked in corporate communications at Ausgrid. 

Prior to working in government, Kaycie spent 10 years as a journalist in radio and television newsrooms, including as News Director at Sky News Australia and Executive Producer at 7 News.
