Leadership change

A change in leadership is always challenging regardless of whether it is triggered by an incident, poor performance or a surprise.

H/Advisors APA has worked with government departments and agencies, corporates, Churches and Not For Profits to communicate a change in leadership.

Sometimes, this is planning in the event of a death or departure that has the potential to be catastrophic in terms of stability and public profile of the organisation.

Sometimes, this is about performance concerns and failing to meet benchmarks, exercising poor judgement or a lack of good governance.

And sometimes, this is about behaviour – illegal or otherwise, which is inconsistent with the values of the organisation and grounds for dismissal.

Often in-house communications teams cannot assist early enough in the process because of confidentiality concerns and daily workloads, so APA works with Boards and Executives on the side.

H/Advisors APA builds strategic messaging for a general narrative and then the additional messaging for key stakeholder groups – these are then translated into rollout materials.
