H/Advisors APA undertook a range of communications to assist clients during COVID-19 - some of which included:

BlueScope Steel – We worked closely with the internal team to develop a strategy and engage with government stakeholders to ensure BlueScope’s steel making business in Port Kembla was classified as an ‘essential service’ to remain open.  Media coverage was gained to reinforce the message, and ultimately the steel works were allowed to continue operating.

Aged Care Providers - COVID-19 preparation and incident management as well as lobbying around innovation and PPE supplies.

Independent Schools – We worked with dozens of independent schools through the development of response plans, the shift from on-campus to on-line learning and back again, and during several COVID-19 incidents within school communities.

ANSTO Cyclotron – We worked with ANSTO to pre-position the National Research Cyclotron Facility at the Camperdown campus, to be ready as a backup provider of FDG to Australian nuclear medicine centres if the current supply chain network failed because of COVID-19.

ComfortDelGro Corporation – As the largest private bus operator in Australia and the provider of taxi services, CDC’s communications demands have been diverse.  First, a COVID-19 communications response plan was required, secondly the communications to educate stakeholders (internal and external) and finally the scenario planning around various potential situations.

NCOSS – We assisted in the development of an developing an integrated public and government relations program to ensure the NSW Government’s response to COVID-19 supported the most vulnerable people in the community.  We helped NCOSS focus on social and affordable housing, cost of living relief and industry assistance, and complemented this with a media campaign reaching more than 1.4 million people in March 2020.

Association of Accredited Certifiers – With the construction industry central to the COVID-19 economic recovery, H/Advisors APA assisted AAC in successfully campaigning for vitally important building reforms which will increase accountability across the industry and ultimately support the economic rebuild in NSW.

Rapid Relief Team - The RRT partnered with the NSW Government to deliver 4,500 donated food boxes to vulnerable families in COVID-19 self-quarantine.  H/Advisors APA worked with the charity to secure media coverage to drive registrations for the food boxes across the State.

NSW Department of Education – Training to present video messaging and enhance media performance from the COVID Control Centre.
