Loreto Kirribilli is a school founded by the Sisters of Loreto more than 110 years ago – the challenge is always to continue to offer relevant and contemporary education which inspires and engages the girls for a future that is rapidly changing.

As the Principal, Executive and Board determined the vision for girls’ education and what that would mean to their confined and hilly site in residential Kirribilli, H/Advisors APA was engaged to help develop a collaborative and strategic approach to communications for all audiences.

We devised a narrative built on the values and history of the school, which took into account the impact of technology and an evolving job market on the skills requirements for the future, and factored in the language and concepts of the latest research into teaching and learning.

This was overlaid with the requirements of a range of audiences from teachers to parents, students, neighbours, alumni, the Sisters and future students, and where required separate communications materials were developed.

H/Advisors APA assisted with storyboards for the SSDA consultations and helped manage the advertising and media coverage.

The SSDA was subsequently approved by the NSW Government and early work has commenced. The Innovation Centre in the middle of the redesign is due to be occupied in 2022.
